The team works closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing, with a practical, execution-first approach.
The impact you’ll make
As a Buyer 4, you will keep KTC and LMK running without interruption by handling operational materials from sourcing through PO and post-PO follow-up.
Drawing on your experience with gases, chemicals, facility-related items, and factory operational needs, you will execute end-to-end SCM tasks and resolve real-world issues.
You will also lead English communications with overseas vendors and stakeholders to handle negotiations, delivery/quality issues, and changes, while operating processes reliably in SAP.
What you’ll do
- Execute end-to-end procurement for KTC/LMK operational needs: vendor selection, RFQ, commercial terms, PO issuance, and follow-up
- Purchase R&D lab materials including gases, chemicals, test/research items, and facility-related materials/services
- Support LMK manufacturing operations with sourcing actions and responses to supply changes/risksManage overseas indirect purchases (e.g., gases, chemicals, equipment, MRO, services) and vendor performance
- Lead English communications with overseas vendors and stakeholders for negotiations, contracts, delivery/quality topics, and escalations
- Run SAP-based procurement processes (requisitions, changes, POs; material/vendor data accuracy)
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Purchasing to resolve issues and improve execution
- Contribute to process standardization and continuous improvement (lead time, cost, risk)
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree (SCM or Business preferred)
- 10+ years in procurement/sourcing/materials or SCM
- End-to-end buying experience required: vendor selection → RFQ/negotiation → contract/PO → operational issue handling
- Working knowledge of SCM across sourcing–buying–operations (practical, not theoretical)KTC (R&D) operations materials experience required, including
- Gases and chemicals
- Test/research materials
- Facility-related materials/services
- Experience supporting semi-conductors operations or high-volume manufacturing environments
- Overseas indirect purchasing experience required
- Hands-on SAP (MM/procurement modules) required
- Fluent English required — able to lead meetings, negotiations, contract discussions, and issue resolution with overseas vendors/stakeholders

Ability to identify cost, process, and sourcing efficiencies while maintaining operational continuity

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
