Contingent Workforce Program Manager (Direct Contractor position)

The HR Contingent Workforce Program Manager will provide operational support to internal business teams and stakeholders, managing daily program activities and collaborating with internal teams and suppliers. This role includes oversight of daily processes, drive compliance, review staffing/dispatch contracts as needed, and participation in special projects. 

What you’ll do

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Contingent Workforce Program (파견, 도급, 아웃소싱) in Korea via the VMS (Vendor Management System), partnering with the Global Contingent Workforce ProgramTeam.

  • Lead local/global Contingent Workforce Program projects as a SPOC of Korea collaborating with CW manager in HQ.
  • Deliver support and training to managers and suppliers on program guidelines, policies, and procedures.

  • Manage the timecard/invoice process through the VMS as applicable.

  • Serve as the primary escalation point for contingent worker support and issue resolution.

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes with key stakeholders.

  • Collaborate on quarterly and project-based initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain process documentation, ensuring clear communication to stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain relationships with staffing/dispatch partners, driving compliance with program objectives.

  • Identify and address problem areas with actionable solutions. 

Who we’re looking for

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in contingent workforce program management (파견, 도급, 아웃소싱), staffing leadership, or MSP leadership/operations. 

  • Strong understanding of the contingent workforce (파견, 도급, 아웃소싱) employment laws in Korea.

  • HR background is a plus, but candidates with other backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Proficiency in English is must.
  • Proficiency with VMS (Vendor Management System) tools such as Magnit, Fieldglass, Beeline, or Wand. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

  • High learning agility, creative problem-solving, and attention to detail.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education, training, or experience considered. 

  • Hybrid work is available (2 days in home)

Preferred qualifications

  • Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
