The Group You’ll Be A Part Of

Global Workplace Solutions is responsible for delivering creative, market-competitive workplace solutions that are aligned with Lam Research business needs through proactive occupancy plans; secure safe and productive work environments; and scalable, high-quality facilities and emergency services.

 

 

The Impact You’ll Make

Assists with maintaining daily operations of the physical facility. Supports maintenance mechanics and facilities staff by performing “handyman” maintenance duties such as furniture moves, simple electrical projects, spot painting and/or cleaning, light construction and/or exterior cleanup. Works with outside contractors on building and equipment repairs. Operates site equipment as needed, using hand and power tools as necessary. May perform other activities such as audio-visual (AV) set up for meetings or conferences, inter-office mail deliveries, waste paper recycling, and stocking of employee break areas. May maintain documentation such as power diagrams, network diagram, space usage, etc. and also assist with the editing of media materials, such as tapes. May provide support to vendors/contractors such as security force, cafeteria, media relations. May assist in hosting corporate visitors/dignitaries.

What You’ll Do

  • The Facilities technician will work with facilities engineers to maintain facilities infrastructure and equipment to make sure a safety of the facilities.
  • Provide support for facilities maintenance activities of buildings and equipment. 
  • Responsible for overall site vacuum pumps, abatement maintenance and owns equipment uptime metrics associated with it as it affects process tool downtime.
  • Requires ability to analyze and evaluate complex and ambiguous problems with focus on speed to solutions.
  • Responsible for maintenance, operating, and monitoring on abatement capacity and nitrogen dilution operational settings.
  • Work with onsite Engineering and Operations staff to support all aspects of Research and Development Cleanroom and Lab Operations.
  • Assisting as required with all aspects of Global Workplace Solutions.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Associated degrees such as mechanical engineering and relevant industry experience are required under 2 years of industrial experience.
  • Basic knowledge of vacuum pumps, abatement fundamentals, and chiller thermodynamics in the semiconductor industry required.
  • The certification requirement is the Air-conditioning refrigeration machinery industry engineer.
  • Basic P&ID drawing should be able to be read and understood. Working knowledge of CAD as plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to successfully interact with internal customers and stakeholders.
  • Microsoft Teams, Outlook and Excel.  Working Knowledge of SAP a plus.
  • People who are available 3 shifts rotation.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Fluent in English (written & verbal) and Presentation skill
