What You’ll Do
We are seeking a Benefits Specialist to join Lam’s global Total Rewards Center of Excellence(COE) team. The role will provide a broad range of, analysis, and process support to HR Business Partners, Recruiters, and employees & business Leaders in Korea. This is a full-time, on-site flex position located in Yongin and reporting directly to the Total Rewards Manager.
The Benefits Specialist will play a major role in the promotion and expansion of our global benefits, time and attendance, well-being programs, and other HR projects & initiatives. Lam’s programs are designed to be competitive, cost effective, and consistent with Lam’s values, business goals, and global total rewards strategy.
· Serves as a benefit specialist on global and regional benefits programs for Korea
· Partners with the HRBPs, HR Shared Services and other COEs to ensure benefits programs and processes
· Promotes various Lam’s benefits programs to employees
· Monitors and Identifies operational issues and opportunities to update or improve policies and procedures
· Support and manage prioritized HR projects and/or initiatives
Other Job Responsibilities
- Plans, lead, and manage annual benefit programs in partnership with HR Shared Service
- Manages regional benefits vendors for (annual) benefits renewals
- Work closely with finance for any TR related payroll or any HR related matters
- Promotes global and regional Lam’s benefits programs including Well being programs
- Manages ad-hoc HR & benefit projects and initiatives based on global or local specific needs
- Supports Total Rewards Manager for the educational roll-out, change management, and adoption of new and/or changing benefits programs
- Submit Account Payable requests for benefits program
- Reviews and ensures benefit programs are executed by HR Shared Services in accordance with the policies and guidelines
- Ensures benefits standards comply with company policies and/or other regulation or legislation
- Monitors and identifies operational issues and opportunities to update or improve benefit policies and procedures in EDMS
- Support HR communication, HR operation, Governance reporting working with HR COEs & HR head
Who We’re Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or a related field with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the C&B function
· Compensation and benefits knowledge with demonstrated progressive responsibilities, preferably in the high technology and/or manufacturing industry within global companies
· Demonstrated Korean and English language verbal and written communication skills required
· High proficient with desktop software, including MS word, Power Point, and Excel
· Excellent customer service skills and strong work ethic; ability to interface effectively with employees across cultures

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
