The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

 

The impact you’ll make

We are seeking an experienced Workforce Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and governance of outsourced workforce operations. This role is critical in ensuring effective workforce deployment, vendor management, cost optimization, and operational excellence across multiple projects. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal Account Teams and external partners to drive scalable, compliant, and high-quality service delivery.

What you’ll do

  • Lead end-to-end workforce and outsourcing strategy from planning and design to execution and operational governance
  • Develop and implement outsourcing schemes aligned with business objectives
  • Manage vendor including contract scope definition, cost estimation, and vendor workforce planning
  • Ensure optimal resource assignment in coordination with internal stakeholders and account teams
  • Monitor project performance including progress, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and escalations with timely resolution
  • Maintain governance across outsourced operations ensuring compliance with contractual standards

Oversee skill and capability management of assigned workforce

Who we’re looking for

  • Experience in project management, or operations management
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in vendor management or outsourcing operations
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor, field service, or manufacturing industries
  • Knowledge of contract management and cost control
  • Familiarity with workforce planning
  • Business-level English communication skills
