The Impact You’ll Make

Directs the activities of a staff that develops, analyzes and maintains tools that support and automate processes for hardware or software product release. Develops standards, processes and controls for configuration and release activities. Provides guidance to developers and configuration/release team in the preparation of build analyses, design alternatives, installation scripts and programs, schedules and evaluations. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

What You’ll Do

•    Determining tool configurations for Lam tools (CVD, Etch or Clean)
•    Aligning customer requirements with the configurations of the shipped Lam tool
•    Creating equipment specifications and design documents
•    Selecting local procured items, planning budgets, purchasing, and managing budgets
•    Managing tool move-in and equipment connection tasks
•    Travel ratio: typically 0~5%

Who We’re Looking For

1) Individuals with Job Grade 28-30 (other Job Grades can be considered upon consultation)
2) Over 2 years of experience in the current role
3) Management and project management skills are a plus
4) Ability to actively communicate domestically and internationally without barriers such as department or age
5) Possess teamwork that respects each other
6) Able to take proactive actions

Preferred Qualifications

1) Bachelor's degree or higher (Science and Engineering)
2) Experience in mechanical or electrical work
3) Management and project management skills are a plus
4) Ability to understand and implement the company's management policies, etc.
5) Knowledge of Lam equipment is a plus
6) Ability to actively communicate domestically (both within and outside the company) and internationally without barriers such as department or age
7) Business-level English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
8) Business-level Japanese proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
9) Possess teamwork that respects each other
10) Able to take proactive actions
11) Experience in handling inquiries, negotiations, procedures, and acceptance of deliveries with clients is a plus

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
