Mechanical/Fluids Engineer (all genders)

What you’ll do

  • Conceptual design and architecture development of chemical fluid delivery systems.
  • Conducting feasibility analyses, system calculations, and evaluating simulation results.
  • Developing technical concepts and deriving system requirements for new functions and products.
  • Defining operational concepts such as functional and process descriptions (Theory of Operation) for software development.
  • Developing verification strategies and planning and evaluating tests to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Conducting risk analyses and ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards.
  • Providing technical leadership for concept evaluations, variant comparisons, and technical decision-making processes.
  • Close collaboration with internal departments and suppliers to develop robust and cost-effective solutions.
  • Creating the required development documentation according to the product development process.

Who we’re looking for

  • Completed technical education (HTL, FH, or university) in mechanical engineering, fluid technology, process engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the development of technical systems.
  • High level of technical independence and the ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems in a structured manner.
  • Knowledge of fluidics, hydraulics, temperature control, or chemical supply systems.
  • Experience with technical calculations, simulations, and data-driven analysis.
  • Experience with CAD systems (e.g., NX, Inventor, AutoCAD) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
  • Structured work style and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Willingness to travel.

Our commitment

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in the occupation group E or F depending on educational background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
