Global Quality Program Manager (all genders)

What you’ll do

Lead and oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Management processes, including process validation, continuous improvement initiatives, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Build solutions that will improve business processes and support critical business strategies

Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other applicable quality and regulatory standards, including the planning and execution of internal, customer, and supplier audits

Drive Six Sigma–based quality and improvement programs, ensuring measurable performance improvements and sustainable process control
- Provide actionable insights for management to influence decision making through data collection and analysis to support informed decision making

Develop and deliver clear, concise, and professional communications, including presentations and reports, for senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Ensure execution, manage risks, assure adherence to program or project schedules, and performance to meet business requirements
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve the process
- Drive organizational change management for major initiatives, ensuring stakeholder engagement, adoption of new processes, sustainability of results, and formal program closure
- Act as a senior leader and mentor, developing program management and quality leadership capabilities within the organization
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or Mechatronics
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certification and a relevant Auditor Certification in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards
- 15+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management processes, with demonstrated expertise in Process Validation, Continuous Process Improvement, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- 12+ years of experience in project and/or program management, including responsibility for Customer & Supplier Audit processes including Supplier Qualification Activities
- Solid Experience in applying quality governance within a Six Sigma–driven environment
- Proven experience within the semiconductor manufacturing industry, with preference for candidates having exposure to spin‑clean and/or dry‑etch semiconductor processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and effectively influence stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and leverage insights to support strategic and operational decision‑making
- Proven experience managing and collaborating with global suppliers across diverse regions and cultures
- Possession of relevant Project Management certifications, such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2, is highly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to prepare and deliver clear, professional presentations to internal and external stakeholders

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
