The impact you’ll make
Develop a cadre of individuals supporting each warehouse facility to coordinate and maintain a Quality Culture within the operations while providing a single POC for all quality communications and excursions.
What you’ll do
The individual will fill a gap within the facility in which they will set to example of quality training / monitoring and lead the facility in any occurrences deviating from outlined processes and procedures. Primary performance requirements (but not limited to):
- Review and ensure all established quality processes are being followed:
- Conduct walks of work areas, shipping docks and other locations where material is staged and consolidated to ensure proper accountability
- Investigate any issues in which a “gap” or missing step within a process needs to be addressed.
- Work directly with the warehouse leadership team in coordinating and instructing personnel on quality processes and procedures
- Holds cross functional teams, as required, accountable for their execution & quality of solutions delivered as necessary for problem resolution
- Responsible for 8D quality and systemic change
- Continuous Improvement initiatives such as Gemba Walks, identifying/eliminating non-value add activity, workplace optimization, …
Who we’re looking for
- At least 5-yr of warehouse operations. Preferably assigned to different departments for increased exposure to overall flow
- Familiarity with warehouse quality management
- Understanding of 8D (Eight Disciplines) approach as a structured, team-based problem-solving methodology

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
