Who we’re looking for

Lam Research Taiwan is currently operating as a standard (non-bonded) manufacturing facility. This role will lead and support the end-to-end registration and implementation of Bonded Factory / FTZ-related programs in Taiwan, and will establish compliant operating processes for ongoing bonded operations. The Senior Specialist will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external authorities to ensure successful approval, launch, and sustainable governance of the bonded program.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics, semiconductor equipment, high-tech manufacturing preferred).
• Experience implementing bonded controls in ERP/WMS, including inventory reconciliation and regulatory reporting.
• Prior experience leading government registration projects (bonded qualification, FTZ expansion, customs special programs).
• Customs broker license or trade compliance certification is a plus.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
• +8-10 Years strong hands-on experience with Taiwan bonded programs, such as Bonded Factory / FTZ operations, including registration and/or ongoing operational management.
• Deep working knowledge of:

• Taiwan bonded factory regulations (laws, requirements, operational controls)
• Taiwan import/export customs clearance processes, documentation, and compliance practices
• Proven ability to work directly with Taiwan Customs and FTZ authorities, including experience supporting inspections/audits, responding to findings, and driving corrective actions.
• Strong local network and ability to build/maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders (authorities, brokers, consultants, 3PLs).
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to drive cross-functional execution under time constraints.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin Chinese proficiency is strongly preferred (or required, depending on the role scope).

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
