The Impact You’ll Make

At Lam, as an EH&S Engineer, you're instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental safety programs and policies. Ensuring compliance with regulations, you'll perform safety inspections, conduct trainings, and oversee hazardous waste vendors and processes. Your expertise spans to life safety, workplace ergonomics, and monitoring industrial health compliance. Acting as a liaison with regulatory agencies you'll not only stay current but also reinforce Lam's commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist the supervisor to formulate, plan and promote the safety and health management of the department, and guide the relevant personnel to implement. 
  • Solid, comprehensive working knowledge/understanding of EHS field including related laws and regulations and ISO standards. 
  • Communicate and assist in the prevention and investigation of ESH incidents in the department, and provide corrective action plans.
  • Assist the supervisor to guide the department to implement operational safety standards and conduct inspections, and declare or keep necessary records.
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively in a diverse environment and internal departments. 
  • Project management. 

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for an experienced EHS professional with a strong background in occupational safety and environmental health, preferably with experience in the semiconductor industry. This individual should be capable of independently driving EHS programs, communicating effectively across departments, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
We seek a team member who not only possesses technical expertise but also demonstrates open communication and a strong spirit of collaboration. A mindset rooted in innovation and growth—with a willingness to embrace change, continuously learn, and drive improvement—is essential to thrive in this role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Class B labor safety or health management license required; Class A is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in occupational safety, health, or a related field.
  • Experience in implementing or auditing ISO14001 and ISO45001 management systems.
  • Familiarity with environmental health and safety laws and internal communication practices.
  • EHS support experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
  • Basic to intermediate English communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), ergonomic risk assessment, and hazard prevention.
  • Strong knowledge in electric shock and electrical fire hazard prevention.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in Class I industry OS&H functions.
