The Impact You’ll Make
This role covers supervision of all accounting & statutory compliance activities of SEA Regional Finance. This includes but is not limited to payroll, statutory, accounting, and business financial analysis activities. The employee will be required to supervise the accounting team, and drive accounting/compliance projects. The role will also support revenue recognition, and various aspects of distribution & business finance transactions & analytics.
What You’ll Do
- Drive monthly and quarterly financial close accounting analysis and entries. This includes guide, review, approve journal entries of the team and the outsource accounting support.
- Ensure smooth running of the Business Finance Operations: Drive & review AR collection/reporting to meet KPI. Understand and resolve issues relating to GST, rebates, that may implicate AR / Revenue recognition.
- Support statutory audits & reporting which includes annual audit and taxation matters, transfer pricing analysis. Support internal audits, preparation of schedules, retrieval of information from business partners to deliver compliance and controls.
- Oversee the monthly payroll administration, year-end individual Income Tax Reporting, payroll forecast, including liaison with both internal business partner and payroll outsource provider.
- Business partnering with Account teams & Operations through supporting financial analysis, recommend financial solutions to improve on profitability, AR collectability and ease of revenue recognition.
- Undertake streamlining projects and initiatives involving systems improvement, reporting improvement.
- Guide & develop the accounting team. Key liaison to ensure smooth support of outsource accounting support.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with more than 15 years of Finance / Accounting experience with > 5 years of handling audit / SOX tasks.
- Experience in supporting business finance operations (payroll processing, business forecast, revenue recognition, billing, rebates program management, AR collection, etc.) Proven track record of business finance analysis and executive reporting.
- Noteworthy experience in leading systems improvement projects would be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of US GAAP and Singapore FRS.
- Good working knowledge of SAP (ECC or S4 Hana) preferred.
- Possesses strong inter-personal and communications skills. Successful examples in cross-functional collaboration, managing / influencing difficult work partners.
- Experience in leading a team (direct report or project team) is preferred.
- Commands good oral and written English.
- Has ability to work independently, possesses good analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand business processes / operations.
- Is meticulous and maintains detailed and accurate accounting records. Efficient in time-management and fast in execution.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
