Marketing Communications Specialist, China 
 
As Marketing Communications Specialist for China, you will play a critical role in creating and executing strategic programs that span all communications channels and formats, align with our key business objectives, and advance Lam’s brand and reputation goals locally, regionally, and globally.  You will be responsible for helping us craft our narrative, inspire our workforce, bring our brand to life and shape perceptions of Lam with key audiences. This position requires strong cross-team collaboration across multiple functions and close partnership with corporate communications teammates across Asia and in the US. 

What you’ll do

Responsibilities
•    Plan, orchestrate and execute marketing communication and social impact activities in China
•    Develop content and manage internal comms channels to inform, engage and inspire employees
•    Support communications for employee events and community activities 
•    Implement communications frameworks and processes 
•    Develop branding materials and serve as a point of contact for partners 
•    Manage editorial calendar and cooperate with the global team to develop and localize content for campaigns and company communications platforms including social media
•    Support local media relations and activities

Who we’re looking for

Minimum Qualifications 
•    7+ years of experience in a communications role and similar function at a global company
•    Highly fluent in English and Chinese
•    Skilled in MS Office: PPT, Word, Excel, MS Teams 
•    Proactive team player with strong accountability, initiative and communication skills 

Qualifications 
•    University degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, Public Relations or equivalent academic qualification 
•    Experience as a writer, journalist or content creator would be an advantage 
•    A bold, action-oriented and positive person who can put new ideas into action

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
