The impact you’ll make

We are seeking a highly skilled, 13+ years experienced, Senior SAP expert with a deep expertise in SAP Production Planning, Materials Management and Reverse Logistics in ECC and S/4HANA migration projects.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in Support in ECC & S4 Hana designing, configuring, and implementing SAP Production Planning, Materials management and Reverse logistics solutions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and leadership teams to drive process improvements and ensure the Business Continuity and successful migration to SAP S/4 HANA.

The ideal candidate would help support and build the key Spares Part Planning and Reverse logistics processes in a complex environment during the ECC Maintenance Support, Transition/migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.

Highly skilled in cross-module integrations involving SD (Sales & Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and EWM and TM.

Should have significant experience in manufacturing industry. This role requires deep functional expertise and configuration ability to design and build business-critical processes through SAP.

What you’ll do

SAP ECC & S/4HANA:

• • Maintenance of all the As-Is solutions in SAP PP, MM, and integration areas.
  • Plan, design, and execute the migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, focusing on PP, Reverse Logistics processes.
  • Identify and manage gaps, changes, and enhancements.
  • Analyze business requirements and provide functional expertise, guidance, and solutions aligned with SAP best practices in PP, MM, and Reverse logistics.
  • PP/MM Configuration:
  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP PP/MM modules.
  • Reconfigure or optimize PP and MM modules to bridge the gap between ECC and S/4 environment.
  • Work with technical teams to manage adaptations for Business Processes, reporting, workflows, and analytics in cross systems environment.
  • Process Optimization and Design:
  • Analyze and optimize Spare part planning and Reverse logistics processes and operations.
  • Support change management initiatives, ensuring minimal disruption during S/4 HANA migration and go-live phases.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and trends, providing recommendations for continuous improvement in the processes.
  • Cross-Module Integrations:
  • Ensure seamless integration of PP/MM modules with other key modules such as SD (Sales & Distribution) and LE (Logistics Execution), Service module.
  • Collaborate with business process owners, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration between Order management, planning, forecasting and logistics.
  • Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:
  • Work closely with business SMEs, leaders, and IT teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and manage expectations throughout the project.
  • Training, Testing and Documentation:
  • Develop and execute test cases for processes to validate system functionality in synchronization with planned objectives.
  • Document all configurations, process changes, and new functionalities to ensure alignment and future reference.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance user adoption and understanding of new systems and process

Who we’re looking for

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , IT.
• Experience: Minimum 13+ years of experience in SAP PP/ MM  with a strong focus on ECC/ S4.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori and user experience improvements.
• Ability to integrate and streamline multi-system landscapes. This role requires both deep technical and functional expertise.
• Expertise in SAP PP/MM modules (MRP, Material Master data, ATP, Forecasting, Sub-contracting) with deep integration knowledge of SD, WM/EWM ,TM and GTS etc..
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to support complex, cross-functional processes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred qualifications

• SAP certification in ECC / S4 PP, MM is highly desirable.
• Experience in global SAP implementations or rollouts, with complex multi-system interfaces.
• Business process knowledge in Manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of cloud-based and on-premises integration technologies (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP Data Services, Migration Cockpit).

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
