The impact you’ll make
At Lam, as a Supply Chain Business Manager, you play a crucial role in partnering with suppliers to drive operational excellence. Your data-driven approach ensures effective planning, scheduling, and monitoring material movement through our dynamic global production cycle. You’ll benchmark and monitor supplier performance to manage risk. By driving continuous supplier process improvements you support the productivity and efficiency of Lam's operations.
What you’ll do
This position is part of the Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) organization. In this position, you will help establish/ sustain world class supply chain operations ensuring we achieve our commitments to customers. Supply Chain Business Managers will have an opportunity to work across organization on production challenges, manage operations excellence at suppliers, and participate in continues process improvement projects.
The ideal candidate must be a result-driven, self-starter possessing strong interpersonal skills with a strong focus on supporting customers. This individual must possess the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, to adapt to changing priorities and to work independently in a close-knit team setting.
Who we’re looking for
Years of Experience:
• Minimum Experience: 10+ years of experience in a Supply Chain, Operations, or production/planning environment
Job Experience:
• Hands on experience of strong analytical and problem-solving skills with history of successful Global Supply Chain Operations.
• Knowledge of production planning, manufacturing, and logistics operations
• Strong understanding and application of problem-solving methodologies
• Sound understanding and familiarity with Semiconductors, Electrical equipment Manufacturing or High-technology supply management practices, standards and organizations.
• Business and technical background understanding all the Commercial off the shelf items, OEM, Proprietary/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic components/HLA’s/Integration commodities.
Educational: Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial engineering or any other stream. MBA will be an added advantage.
Mandatory Skills & Requirement:
• Solid analytical and written/oral communication skills with ability to communicate cross-functionally and with various levels of the organization including Executives
• Understanding of statistical process control and basic statistical analysis used in production setting
• Good interpersonal relationship skills and professional level of emotional intelligence necessary to achieve the desired objective deliverables
• Good experience of strong analytical and problem-solving skills with history of successful resolution in a Global Supply Chain operation
• Exhibit attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to handle multiple tasks in fast paced environment
• Ability to operate independently, recognizing when consultation is required from Manager.
Preferred qualifications
• Proficient in Data Analytics & Presentation Skills
• Six sigma yellow/green belt is a plus

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
