The impact you’ll make
Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Master Scheduler: Provides input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with marketing, sales, production and engineering managers. Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. Oversees the master schedules and ensures comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing.
What you’ll do
As a Master Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective scheduling of production activities across our global operations. This role is responsible for translating build plans into executable system schedules, maintaining schedule integrity through execution. You will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and international teams to create, monitor, and adjust production schedules as business conditions evolve. Through strong attention to detail, analytical rigor, and organizational skills, you will help ensure smooth execution of production processes, proactively identify risks, and support data‑driven decision making on a global scale. This position requires a balance of hands‑on execution, coordination, and strategic problem‑solving, contributing directly to operational stability, scalability, and overall supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain global production schedules by translating customer demand, inventory positions, and capacity constraints into executable schedules across multiple sites. Adjust schedules as priorities, demand, or resource availability change.
- Coordinate with global, cross‑functional teams (Order Execution, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics) to ensure schedules are aligned with material readiness, manufacturing capability, and delivery commitments.
- Monitor production progress against schedules, proactively identifying risks, delays, or bottlenecks, and driving corrective actions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage and communicate schedule and configuration changes effectively across regions and time zones, ensuring timely, clear updates to stakeholders to minimize disruption and execution risk.
- Maintain scheduling systems and tools, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable data within planning and execution platforms to support downstream processes and reporting.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to enhancements in scheduling processes, tools, and execution discipline to improve global planning accuracy and operational performance
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree with 3-8 years of related experience
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate plans into executable outcomes
- Sound decision‑making and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment
- Critical thinking to anticipate issues and prevent downstream impact
- Ability to deliver results within timelines and evolving constraints
- Adaptability to changing business needs and demand volatility
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Fluent English communication skills (speaking, reading, writing, listening)
Preferred qualifications
- Semiconductor industry experience
- Strong sense of business urgency and priority awareness
- Experience working in global or multi‑site planning environments
- Knowledge of CPIM (Certified in Planning & Inventory Management) via APICS.
- Knowledge of CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) via APICS.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
