The Group You’ll Be A Part Of

You will be part of the Productivities Improvement team as Industrial Engineer in manufacturing organization, which focuses on optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality manufacturing standards.

 

The Impact You’ll Make

As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing factory productivity and efficiency. Your work will directly contribute to reducing production cycle times, minimizing labor hours, and implementing lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste.

What You’ll Do

  • Factory capacity modeling, simulation, and utilization management
  • Productivity and efficiency improvement of factory facilities and direct labor resources
  • Production cycle time and labor hour reduction through waste elimination and various Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) activities
  • Lean production and Cell line design optimization
  • Prepare workstation or equipment layouts for new production or modify existing layouts using AutoCAD software
  • Determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow
  • Utilize line-balancing techniques to determine process or operator loading and production flow
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles on process improvement initiatives and developing best known methods
  • Perform time studies in support of level loading and productivity enhancements
  • Interface with production personnel, design engineering, and other manufacturing engineers to incorporate changes to the processes that improve product manufacturability and quality
  • Develop and design tools and fixtures that enable manufacturing and process improvement
  • Perform assignments requiring use and application of standard engineering techniques
  • Develop cost-benefit comparisons of alternate methods, parts, tooling, or equipment

Who We’re Looking For

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of practical experience in industrial engineering within an automotive or automation environment, or equivalent.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Capacity modeling, calculation, and utilization management of production lines.
    • Process flow and large-scale lean production design and manufacturing line design.
    • Tool and fixture design with AutoCAD and ergonomics knowledge.
    • Solid understanding of statistical process control.
  • Skills:
    • Analytical: Ability to analyze complex production processes and identify areas for improvement.
    • Problem-solving: Strong ability to develop innovative solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
    • Technical: Proficiency in AutoCAD and statistical process control.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
    • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with production personnel, design engineering, and other manufacturing engineers.
  • Certification: Six Sigma Certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Smart factory and Industry 4.0 knowledge
