The impact you’ll make
This role partners with global and regional logistics leaders to optimize end-to-end logistics processes across manufacturing and warehousing environments.
It focuses on analyzing material flows, identifying systemic inefficiencies, and leading Lean-based improvements that deliver measurable gains in cost, delivery, and operational stability.
The position operates with high autonomy and influences cross-functional stakeholders through data-driven insights and structured problem solving.
What you’ll do
Logistics & Systems Optimization
- Analyze and optimize logistics systems, material flows, and facility layouts to improve throughput, inventory health, and space utilization.
Monitor logistics performance, conduct root cause analysis, and lead structured improvement initiatives.
Design and validate facility and material flow concepts using AutoCAD and simulation-based analysis.
Lean & Continuous Improvement
- Drive Lean transformation initiatives, including Kanban, Kaizen, and pull-based material management.
- Facilitate value stream mapping and continuous improvement workshops with cross-functional teams.
- Sustain improvements through standard work, visual management, and performance tracking.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Analyze operational data to diagnose issues, evaluate solutions, and quantify business impact.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for logistics and operations leadership.
- Track initiative outcomes and adjust actions based on performance results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operational Excellence
- Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and IT to align logistics solutions with business objectives.
- Influence stakeholders without direct authority using structured analysis and fact-based recommendations.
- Optimize MRP and inventory strategies while supporting scalable global logistics best practices.
Who we’re looking for
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Good command in English conversation
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations with hands-on process optimization.
- Solid knowledge of Lean Logistics principles (Kanban, Kaizen, value stream mapping, waste elimination).
- Proficiency in material flow analysis, inventory management, and MRP fundamentals.
- Experience with facility layout and material flow design using AutoCAD or similar tools.
- Strong data analysis skills to support fact-based decision making.
- Familiarity with high-mix or dynamic manufacturing and warehousing environments.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
