The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business.

 

The impact you’ll make

Performs inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes. Carries out packaging line, manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met. Monitors critical equipment and instrumentation. May draft procedures and assist with validating or troubleshooting testing methods, including assays. May apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated.

What you’ll do

  • Perform product audits, prepare detailed reports, and summarize findings related to non‑conformances and defects identified during pre‑shipment and final source audits. 
  • Assist Quality Engineers in containment and validating the implementation of corrective actions. 
  • Perform routine line compliance audits to ensure production processes adhere to quality standards and work instructions (WI/SOP). 
  • Ensure accurate, complete, and timely pass down of all quality related information to the subsequent shift.
  • This role will require the candidate to run 12hrs shift work patterns in cleanroom environment. 

Who we’re looking for

  • Diploma in Science, Engineering, or equivalent field. 
  • 2–9 years of experience in quality assurance and box‑build inspection. 
  • Strong quality mindset, with the ability to prioritize product integrity and follow established standards. 
  • Positive teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams. 
  • Strong work commitment, including consistent attendance, meeting deadlines, and taking responsibility for assigned tasks. 
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications is an added advantage. 
  • Ability to work 12 hour shifts in fast paced and time-sensitive environment

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
