The impact you’ll make

Drives end-to-end talent acquisition for Malaysia, delivering hiring outcomes that enable business growth, operational scale, and future workforce readiness. Develops and executes targeted recruiting strategies to attract high-quality talent across manufacturing, technical, and corporate functions while optimizing speed, cost, and candidate experience.

Serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, translating workforce plans into actionable hiring strategies and providing market insights to inform decisions. Builds strong pipelines for critical and niche talent through proactive sourcing and effective partner management.

Strengthens Lam’s employer brand through consistent candidate engagement and external partnerships, including universities, government agencies, and industry networks. Leverages data, market intelligence, and continuous improvements to enhance hiring effectiveness, ensure compliance, and elevate overall talent acquisition impact.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver end-to-end hiring across DL, IDL, and leadership roles to meet business targets
  • Translate workforce plans into proactive sourcing and talent pipelining strategies
  • Partner with hiring managers and HRBP to align hiring approach, expectations, and market insights
  • Manage RPO partners, agencies, and external platforms to drive quality and hiring efficiency
  • Build and strengthen pipelines through university engagement, early career programs, and government partnerships
  • Support employer branding initiatives through campaigns, events, and candidate engagement
  • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics to improve hiring outcomes and decision-making
  • Ensure compliance, process discipline, and data accuracy across recruitment systems
  • Continuously enhance hiring processes, candidate experience, and stakeholder satisfaction

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 -12 years of talent acquisition experience with strong full-cycle recruiting expertise
  • Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or high-tech industries preferred
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume (direct labor) and niche hiring concurrently
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience working with RPO partners, agencies, and external talent ecosystems
  • Data-driven with the ability to translate insights into actions
  • Strong communication, planning, and execution skills
  • Ability to operate independently as a hands-on, strategic individual contributor

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale hiring ramp or greenfield operations
  • Background in campus engagement, early career hiring, or government partnerships
  • Familiarity with Malaysia talent landscape and workforce initiatives
  • Experience in employer branding or recruitment marketing
  • Proficiency in ATS, recruiting analytics, and talent insights tools

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
