The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business.

What you’ll do

  • Responsible to implement manufacturing related business process and system (Tool room management, MRB Material Handling Process, Digital KPI Visualization & Automation) that helps to standardized and ease the work of manufacturing personnel.
  • Responsible to develop and implement standards on 6S in the Manufacturing floor to ensure full compliance.
  • Drive cost effectiveness effort and have detailed plans and strategies to ensure Manufacturing is continuously spending below the budget. This includes scraping cost and purchase.
  • Responsible to lead LEAN and Kaizen efforts in identifying area of opportunities and drive solution by working with various stakeholders.
  • Single point of contact on any issue or activities related to given portfolio.
  • Conduct training/education and vast communication when implementing any business process or system.
  • Perform detailed documentation and user manual in all solutions.
  • Flexibility to support ad hoc assignments beyond the given portfolio.

Who we’re looking for

  • 3 years of experience in Semicon industry working directly with Manufacturing Operation teams.
  • Experience and ability to lead projects independently.
  • Good presentation skills in both verbal and written.
  • Has strong interpersonal skills and good communication.
  • Resourceful and creative in providing solutions.
  • Ability to handle stress and fast paced environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or relevant technical field.
  • Min 3 years of experience on designing, developing and implementing of business processesand systems, especially related to inventory controls, consumable items, 6S standards and cost. 
  • Vast experience in leading LEAN and Kaizen related activities. 
  • Resourceful, independent and creative.
  • Good working attitude and willing to learn and adapt in new and fast paced environment.
  • Excellent communication both written and verbal in English.
  • Excellent usage in Microsoft Office especially macro, Power BI or other automation software.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem solving skills.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
