The impact you’ll make

At Lam, as an HR Representative, you are a versatile generalist in human resources. Your role is vital in covering a range of HR activities, from recruiting to counseling employees on work-related items, and supporting Lam's diversity initiatives. Your contributions will support compensation, benefits, performance management, and personnel policies. Your breadth in HR processes and commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace will help shape Lam's vibrant and diverse culture.

What you’ll do

  •  Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests. Partner with business functions as an expert on HR policies and processes.
  • Provide support and advice to all users on Lam HR systems e.g. Employee Connect, Career Connect. Administering the employee lifecycle transactions including but not limited to onboarding, personal and organization data changes, transfer and offboarding. Auditing for accuracy and compliance.
  • Full employee life cycle management, managing the entire onboarding and offboarding process. This includes the pre-hire logistics support, preparation of the New Hire Getting Started Guide, receiving and welcoming the new hires on Day 1 and co ordinating New Employee Orientation, offboarding logistics support.
  • Benefits and Leave enrollment and administration, including ensuring accurate and correct employee benefits information in the third-party system by Boardroom.
  • Employee insurance enrollment and administration, including claim processing.
  • Support both internal and external audit activities, including data audit.
  • HR reporting and analysis derived from varying data sources.
  • Managing any request for employment verification.
  • Participate in process changes and support improvement projects from time to time. 

Who we’re looking for

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite which includes MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of SuccessFactors will be an advantage
  • Is a team player with good communication and interpersonal relations skills
  • Independent and meticulous with good organizing skills
  • Exposure to the local labor law
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Work well under pressure and can meet tight deadline 

Preferred qualifications

  • Degree holder : 3 to 5 years of relevant experience handling full spectrum of human resource activities

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
