The Impact You’ll Make
In this position, you as a Manufacturing Engineer play a vital role in supporting manufacturing process, productivity improvement, Mistake Proofing and PDCA initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work across organization functions to address technical, quality, and production challenges, as well as opportunity to develop excellence in manufacturing.
What You’ll Do
- Engineering change management control as well as ECR review, approval and implementation to products
- Helps coordinate the introduction of new products from engineering into manufacturing including creating assembly procedure, documenting, and implementation of processes for new products.
- Participates in prototyping and build verification of new assemblies
- Provide improved yield, productivity, and cycle time
- Provide training to production personnel
- Develop and Update Assembly procedures by ECR, NSR and Quality issue (NCR)
- Generate product configuration check and packing list
- Maintain Cellfusion SOE, Options and ECN
- Optimize sequencing and material flow
- RCCA generation for OMS and Eng'r issues
- PR (Problem Report) submission for BOM and Eng'r issue
- Work on cost reduction and cycle time reduction projects
- Identifies and solves production related problems for assigned products and disposition of rejects, determining root cause of production issues
- To ensure the equipment is properly built, configured and certified according to the corresponding procedures
- Fixture/JIG maintenance and development
- Capacity analysis for new and HVM product
- Line Layout design, setup and optimization
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
- Should have a Minimum 1+ years of practical manufacturing engineer experience with semiconductor equipment such as Etch or Deposition products
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods for mechanical assemblies and products
- Knowledge of BOM review and analysis with SAP
- Knowledge of Engineering change management for manufacturing
- Ability to analyze a process, determine gaps/inefficiencies/yield improvement opportunities
- Lean manufacturing techniques and six sigma methodology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience in developing assembly instructions and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced global team environment and with other technical teams
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and controls
- Preferred tool and fixture design skill with AutoCad, Solidworks or Creo experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in designing part or system using 3D design tool(Creo, UG NX, CATIA and etc.)
- Solid understanding of semiconductor equipment
