The impact you’ll make

As a Program or Project Manager at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects/programs for Asia business needs.You’ll be at the forefront of project initiation through delivery, using your expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure project are completed on time and within budget.

In this role, you will directly contribute to workplace solutions that are aligned with Lam Research business needs. 

 

What you’ll do

  • The Strategic Portfolio & Transaction Manager will be responsible for leading review, proposal, and contractual strategies to satisfy Lam’s expanding business location needs throughout Asia.

     

    1. You will manage the real estate portfolio and understand its key data (market, size, owner, costs, expiration date, etc.) to maintain and respond to Business Units’ and GWS Space Planning’s forecasted real estate demand.
    2. You will use data, insights, and strong problem-solving skills to present multiple scenarios to the team with an understanding of commitment to quality, cost, schedule, and flexibility to ensure we optimize our decision making.
    3. You will oversee site due diligence and work with our cross-functional partner like GWS Project Management, Legal, Finance, Risk – and external consultants, such as real estate brokers, to further qualify candidate locations and advise / build alignment from key stakeholders to ensure strategic and best plans.
    4. Cultivate a collaborative, supportive, and productive work environment that fosters both consistent best practices and creative solutions.
    5. You will help develop, drive, and monitor the success of all real estate decisions.
    6. Occasional business travel required.

Who we’re looking for

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 – 10 years of experience in real estate planning or business strategy using data to drive business decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with, presenting to, and influencing executive leaders on planning solutions.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or another analytical discipline.
  • Experience in developing long-term real estate solutions across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable processes across various engagement types/collaborators.
  • Data analysis/data management experience with the ability to work with a variety of metrics, numbers, and data from multiple sources, and guide analyses that help guide unbiased solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate and drive cross-functional engagement and respect while influencing to build consensus across teams with sometimes competing priorities.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
