Lead SAP Solution Architect, R2R (Finance)

You will be part of Lam Research’s global Finance and Digital Transformation organization, supporting enterprise‑wide financial systems and processes. The team partners closely with Finance, IT, Manufacturing, and Program leadership to deliver scalable, compliant, and future‑ready SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions across regions and business units.

The impact you’ll make

In this role, you will deliver enterprise‑level impact by shaping how Lam designs, governs, and executes financial processes during large‑scale SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformations. You will influence finance architecture decisions, define future‑state designs, and ensure business continuity, compliance, and financial integrity across global operations.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a recognized SAP Finance subject‑matter expert who operates with minimal supervision, exercises independent judgment, and influences decisions across organizational boundaries. The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and thrives in complex, global environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive SAP FICO experience across ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Deep expertise in manufacturing finance, product costing, External Tax Engine (Vertex) and controlling processes.
• Proven experience designing and governing cross‑module SAP solutions at enterprise scale.
• Strong ability to influence senior business and IT stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications

• SAP certification in FICO and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience leading global SAP rollouts or multi‑region implementations.
• Experience with SAP Fiori.
• Knowledge of SAP integration and data migration tools.
• Knowledge of cloud-based and on-premises integration technologies (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP Data Services, Migration Cockpit).

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
