Information Security Engineer 4

What you’ll do

• Support the engineering, implementation, and lifecycle management of assigned security tools and platforms
• Maintain and optimize tool configurations in alignment with security standards and industry best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of detection, prevention, and response capabilities
• Assist in identifying and remediating configuration gaps, coverage issues, and security findings
• Participate in security reviews and provide input on architecture and design decisions
• Support development of operational metrics and reporting to track tool effectiveness and security posture
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., SOC, IT, cloud, infrastructure) to drive alignment and integration
• Document processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures

Who we’re looking for

• Foundational experience in Information Security Engineering and security tools/platforms
• Hands-on experience with one or more security domains (e.g., endpoint, identity, network, or cloud security)
• Understanding of core security concepts such as access control, endpoint protection, and threat detection
• Familiarity with integrating security tools with supporting platforms (e.g., endpoint management, logging, SIEM/SOAR)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2–4 years of experience in an Information Security or IT engineering role
• Basic understanding of identity systems, endpoint security, and access management principles
• Experience supporting or operating enterprise security tools
• Knowledge of vulnerability management practices and remediation workflows
• Relevant industry certification(s) preferred (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent)
• Experience working in a large enterprise or global environment
• Exposure to cloud platforms and associated security controls
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and contribute to practical solutions
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working across cross-functional teams

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
