At Lam, as an HR Representative, you are a versatile generalist in human resources. Your role is vital in covering a range of HR activities, from recruiting to counseling employees on work-related items, and supporting Lam's diversity initiatives. Your contributions will support compensation, benefits, performance management, and personnel policies. Your breadth in HR processes and commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace will help shape Lam's vibrant and diverse culture.

What you’ll do

The person is charge provides day‑to‑day operational support across all HR activities and plays a key role in ensuring smooth HR processes within the Irish entity and the wider EMEA organisation. The role focuses on HR administration, employee support, recruitment coordination, payroll inputs, and compliance with Irish employment legislation. The position requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and a customer‑centric mindset.

The position will be based in Dublin, and will support both sites in Ireland (Dublin and Cellbridge). Driving licence and personal car required.

The position will also support remotely HR activities for our team based in Israel.

Travels on weekly base between both sites in Ireland (20 minutes distance), occasionnly to Israel and within EMEA.

1. HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HRIS data is up to date.
  • Prepare employment contracts, amendments, and HR letters (probation, promotions, payment confirmations, etc.).
  • Track probation periods, contract renewals, and key HR milestones.
  • Produce regular HR reports (headcount, turnover, absence, demographics).
  • Duly support mobility and visa requirement by producing necessary letters and information to visa providers and authorities

2. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Support hiring processes: job postings, CV screening, liaising with recruitment agencies, scheduling interviews.
  • Prepare offer documentation and collect pre‑employment information.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure a seamless new hire experience.
  • Organise inductions and maintain onboarding tools and checklists.

3. Employee Relations & HR Support

  • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries (policies, leave, benefits, HR processes).
  • Support managers in interpreting HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist with performance or disciplinary processes when required.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive work environment and culture.

4. Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Provide variable pay component to payroll coordinator (changes, one time payments, allowances, benefits updates)
  • Administer local benefits programmes (pension, healthcare, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with local obligations (PAYE Modernisation, Revenue submissions).

5. Employment Law Compliance (Ireland)

  • Ensure adherence to Irish employment legislation
  • Update local HR policies and employee handbook as legislation evolves.
  • Provide guidance to managers on legal obligations and HR best practices.

6. HR Projects

  • Participate in local and EMEA HR initiatives (engagement surveys, performance cycles, L&D programmes, data projects).
  • Support implementation of global HR tools, systems, and processes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR operations and enhance employee experience.

Preferred qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Employment Law, or related field.1–3 years’ experience in HR administration or generalist roles, preferably in Ireland. Solid understanding of Irish employment law. Experience with HRIS systems

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
