The impact you’ll make

As a Quality Engineer at Lam, you'll make an impact in ensuring manufacturing processes and products meet quality standards by designing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance within the quality management systems (QMS). You design methods for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the accuracy of production processes and finished products. By analyzing production data and reports, you identify trends and work across functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges. Your expertise will help develop excellence in product design and manufacturing supporting Lam's commitment to delivering high-quality and reliable products.

What you’ll do

Ensure all customer complaints at the site are properly documented and communicated, including preparation of non‑conformance reports and providing related training to field service engineers.

Lead the initiation and follow-up of site issues, driving resolution of high‑priority, urgent, and sensitive customer concerns in collaboration with global stakeholders.

Capture, analyze, and resolve issues through structured methodologies such as Pareto analysis and the 8D problem‑solving process, partnering effectively with global teams.

Support or lead site‑based or product‑based cross‑functional teams (CFTs) and drive deep-dive investigations into ramp‑fab performance.

Manage and monitor regional and site-level quality indicators, ensuring visibility, trend analysis, and continuous improvement.

Who we’re looking for

For internal hiring
More than 3~4 years of installation or quality experience at Lam, Preferred Grade 27 (Grade 26 acceptable depending on capability), Bachelors' degree

 

For External hiring
7~8 years of quality experience, Bachelors' degree

Preferred qualifications

For internal hiring
Strong data analysis skills using Excel and (PowerBI, plus), Flexible working location by Customer ramp fab plan

 

For External hiring
A broad understanding of: Quality issue management and resolution (8D, 5Why, Fishbone, Claim analysis), Quality management systems (Quality KPIs management)Data analysis with Excel and (PowerBI, plus), Experience in the semiconductor equipment industry preferredExperience in automotive after-sales / claim management is a plusFlexible working location by Customer ramp fab plan
