The impact you’ll make

Develops and implements the company's production control functions including any of the following activities: master scheduling, production planning/coordination, shop scheduling and dispatching, material requirements, planning systems, work-in-process tracking, material and labor variance controls, and manufacturing performance reporting. Approves quantities, schedules and parts lists provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, as well as receipt and issuance of production material requirements. Responsible for planning, reviewing, and developing production procedures and personnel. May coordinate activities with materials function using enterprise resource planning systems. Maintains reports to reflect scheduling, methods, support performance and process procedures. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Production Control Supervisor to join our team. The Supervisor will play a crucial role in managing a team to ensure the timely and efficient production process by coordinating with various departments, monitoring production schedules, and managing inventory levels. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise daily operations and ensure timely execution of production control tasks.
  2. Monitor team performance and coach for continuous improvement.
  3. Resolve escalated issues related to material flow, shortages, and production readiness.
  4. Ensure compliance with standardized global processes and governance.
  5. Facilitate cross-functional coordination and communication.
  6. Support digital adoption and lean initiatives within the team.
  7. Identify skill gaps and support team development through training and rotation.
  8. Promote a culture of accountability, agility, and collaboration.

Preferred qualifications

Qualification

  1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. 8-10 years of experience in production planning or a similar role.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

 

Preferred Skill

  1. Experience with ERP systems.
  2. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to lead and mentor junior planners.
