Global Planning & Operations (GP&O)  - Global Production Planning 

The impact you’ll make

As a Project Manager on the Global Production Planning team, you will develop strategic and tactical production plans that align customer demand with Lam’s global manufacturing capabilities. You will set global production output across an 18‑month planning horizon while optimizing the global factory network to minimize constraints, increase flexibility, and enable rapid response to changing customer needs. A key focus of this role is driving Finished Goods Inventory (FGI) health through robust analysis, projections, and cross‑functional dispositioning to minimize unassigned inventory.

What you’ll do

  • Gather capability and constraint inputs from Global Operations partners (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics) to develop the global Production Plan
  • Contribute to GOps Sizing (S&OP) by creating and communicating the rolling 18‑month Production Plan on a monthly cadence
  • Establish quarterly scheduling targets for Global Master Scheduling and drive accountability to the Global Production Plan
  • Lead Finished Goods Inventory (FGI) analysis and projections, identifying risks and opportunities across the planning horizon
  • Drive unassigned FGI to zero by partnering cross‑functionally with GOps stakeholders to determine optimal disposition actions (e.g., allocation, reconfiguration, redeployment, or other mitigation paths)
  • Monitor factory routing and completion performance, driving increased capacity flexibility through cycle‑time improvements
  • Define production schedules supporting Business Continuity Planning (BCP) build demonstrations
  • Partner cross‑functionally to drive continuous improvement in global planning, FGI management processes, and supporting systems
  • Provide data‑driven insights and recommendations to support leadership decision‑making
  • Develop clear, concise, and executive‑level communications for stakeholdersManage execution, risks, and schedules to ensure alignment with business objectives

Who we’re looking for

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in production planning, operations, inventory management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing inventory positions and driving cross‑functional disposition decisions
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders across globally distributed teams
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and executive‑level communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration and project management capabilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred qualifications

  • Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.
