The group you’ll be a part of

You will be part of the spares Operations organization and work in an role to drive shortage resolution for spares parts demand from our field enginners or customers. Spares Operation team drive end to end opertational execution of after tool sales demand of spares parts including order management, spares fulfillment and returns/repair activities. 

The impact you’ll make

Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Master Scheduler: Provides input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with marketing, sales, production and engineering managers. Works to resolve (in case of design changes) labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions. Oversees the master schedules and ensures comprehensive compliance with materials requirements for manufacturing.

What you’ll do

  • Expedite global spares customer orders and global spares planning expediting requests to establish confirmed delivery commitments.
  • Schedules, coordinates, and monitors manufacturing production orders throughout their delivery to spares operation warehouses.  
  • Schedules and interfaces with the supply chain on material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
  • Manage the orders in SAP and QuickBase application.
  • Reschedule stock transfer purchase orders (STPOs) and Re-ATP sales orders based on material availability and/or supplier delivery commit. Escalates to management as required.
  • Coordinate for spare part supply risk due to obsolescence, spec issues, part build issues and coordinate with internal teams to resolve the supply risk.
  • Coordinate with global supply chain management to float RFQ-Request for quotation and align the supply source, delivery lead Time.
  • Achieve performance KPIs like OTD, cycle time reduction, commit response time etc. which are part of global control matrix.
  • Fulfillment of urgent customer machine down orders which may require troubleshooting by way of de-kitting, drop shipment, alternative parts, next higher-level assembly, BOM analysis etc.
  • Work with Lam manufacturing and supplier manufacturing to arrange spares on priority. This might involve doing commercial rationalization.

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain/operations and a minimum of 4 years of related experience;

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
