The impact you’ll make
In this role, you will serve as the central coordination point for global spare parts demand, ensuring seamless alignment across customer service, supply chain, manufacturing, and warehouse operations. Your ability to apply company policies, troubleshoot effectively, and use sound judgment within established processes will help resolve issues quickly and maintain operational flow. By tackling moderately complex challenges and working closely with global and cross‑functional teams, you will play a key role in sustaining service levels, strengthening business continuity, and supporting a more resilient and responsive global supply chain
What you’ll do
- Lead the spares escalations team as a primary contact for customer service and global planning, ensuring on‑time delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with regional teams and warehouses to gather requirements, provide updates, and secure on‑time shipments.
- Work closely with purchase and production teams to meet response time goals and resolve material shortages, overdue items, and schedule risks.
- Schedule and monitor Stock Transfer Orders (STOs), production orders, and supplier POs until delivery to the spares warehouse.
- Maintain accurate data in QuickBase and update ATP/ reschedule STOs in SAP based on material and supplier status.
- Escalate risks promptly and investigate issues such as obsolescence, spec changes, and build challenges, collaborating with Engineering and internal teams for resolution.
- Proactively work with cross‑functional teams to prevent expedite events and support key performance metrics such as OTC and OTR.
- Use data‑driven insights to track delays or shortages and recommend improvements to strengthen supply continuity.
- Maintain high accuracy, consistency, and discipline across all operational processes and documentation
- Set clear goals and expectations for team members, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to support employee development and performance improvement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration, trust, and open communication.
- Manage workload, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure smooth operations and employee well‑being.
- Address issues proactively—including performance, conflicts, or engagement concerns—while supporting employee growth.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 8 to 10 years of supervisory experience.
- Hands-on experience as an end user in SAP.
- Familiarity with QuickBase or similar workflow management systems.
- Strong understanding of planning processes and core supply chain concepts.
- Proficient in MS Office tools I.e. Excel, PowerPoint, PBI.
Preferred qualifications
Bachelors of Engineering or MBA in supply chain and operations

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
