Payroll Analyst 3

What You’ll Do
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain payroll records and reporting.
- Liaise with payroll service provider, review transactions and payroll details report processed by them.
- Involve in month end closing, e.g. prepare payroll journal entries, monthly accruals, GL analysis, account reconciliations identifying variances or anomalies.
- Participate in payroll change request process, system/application testing, user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify ways to streamline payroll processes and increase efficiency/accuracy, drive process improvement and support execution of projects.
- Collaborate with other departments, e.g. HRBP, HRSS, Compensation/Benefits and Stock Administration team to resolve payroll-related issues, where necessary.
- Support audit activities, e.g. SOX audit, internal audit, PCB audit, year-end external statutory audit etc.
- Respond to employees’ inquiries on payroll related matters, payroll processes and procedures.
- Report to Management any payroll issues/changes and recommend solutions.
- Identify payroll-related items relevant for e-invoicing purposes, monitor accurate and timely e-invoicing submission and synchronization with service provider platforms. Reconcile and resolve exceptions where applicable.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll-related laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
- Perform other ad hoc assignments as assigned by Manager/Superior.
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field with at least 5 years’ experience in payroll operations.
- Broad knowledge of local Employment laws and payroll-related regulations.
- Organized and attention to detail, strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to deal with high volume work in a transaction orientated environment and work under tight deadlines.
- Multitasking and team player with ability to work effectively across various departments.
- Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Quick learner, self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced time and data sensitive work environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office, e.g. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint.
- Proficient with SAP and Ignite System will be a plus point.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
