The impact you’ll make
Oversees the planning and controls the flow of materials, products, services and related systems information from point of origin to point of delivery. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, or critical parts availability, material handling, import-export licensing, third-party warehousing and shipping/receiving activities. Develops and implements logistics plans, budgets, and procedures to maximize compliance with customer needs within budget constraints. Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories. Exhibits thorough understanding of international Letters of Credit and other forms of banking documents and international shipments. Interacts with vendors and peers in Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Product Development personnel to optimize systems and procedures. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
What you’ll do
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership and direction to third‑party logistics (3PL) warehouse teams to ensure daily operations meet business, safety, quality, and service standards.
- Act as the single point of accountability between the company and 3PL service providers, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, KPIs, and service‑level agreements (SLAs).
- Oversee end‑to‑end warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, storage, inventory management, picking, packing, and outbound distribution.
- Coordinate closely with manufacturing, planning, procurement, customer service, and finance to align warehouse operations with overall supply chain and customer fulfilment strategies.
- Set clear expectations, performance goals, and operating standards, fostering a culture of accountability, discipline, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with 3PL partners, identifying gaps, escalating issues where necessary, and driving corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor daily operational performance to ensure service levels, productivity targets, cost controls, and inventory accuracy are achieved.
- Drive process standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Ensure accurate inventory control and stock integrity through cycle counts, audits, reconciliation, and root‑cause analysis of discrepancies.
- Ensure full compliance with SOPs, work instructions, regulatory requirements, quality standards, and local EHS policies, reinforcing a strong safety culture.
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote collaboration, transparency, and long‑term operational excellence.
- Coach and develop warehouse and operations teams to enhance skills, productivity, and leadership capability.
Who we’re looking for
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 5 years of management experience
- Proven experience in logistics operations within manufacturing and semiconductor environments
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence, earn respect, and effectively coach and develop teams
- Experience in business continuity planning and managing operational recovery scenarios
- Solid knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, shipment processes and SAP knowledge. Freight forwarding experience, including customs regulations (FCZ) would be an added advantage
- Proficient in English with strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple processes and projects simultaneously.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
