The Impact You’ll Make

As a Material Handler at Lam working in Asia Spare Warehouse (ASW), you play a crucial role as an Inventory Control and Material Review Board (ICMRB) in maintaining accurate inventory information while ensuring non-conforming parts are disposition in a timely and accurate manner. Your attention to detail in reviewing, evaluating, and determining the proper disposition of nonconforming material and maintaining accurate records are essential to Lam’s commitment to operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform a variety of task (physical or administrative) involved activities of Inventory Control and Material Review Board (ICMRB).
  • Responsible for managing and overseeing the inventory in Lam’s Asia Spare Warehouse (ASW) or other storage facility.
  • Maintain and update inventory records.
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels, deliveries, and shortages.
  • Review, evaluate, analyse and determine the proper disposition of nonconforming material (MRB).
  • Complete material transactions in SAP, coordinate and manage regular physical inventory audits / Cycle count, create non-conformance reports, and close required tasks.
  • Support Inspection Request for inventory.
  • Investigation on inventory discrepancy.
  • Ensure proper storage and distribution of inventory.
  • Operate and maintain material handling equipment such as trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment.
  • Support a safe work environment by following safe work practices, utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and following Lockout Tagout (LOTO) policies and procedures.

Who We’re Looking For

  • 4-6 years of related experience in ICMRB role with a Technical Certificate or Diploma
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
  • Foundational computers skills including use of warehouse management software (WMS) such as SAP, and Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proven work experience as an Inventory Controller and famaliar with warehouse environment & processes.
  • Experience reviewing and auditing material in various applications (Word, Excel, SAP, etc.)
  • Frequently position oneself (e.g., bend, stoop, reach, walk, sit, twist, squat, kneel, climb, stand) to perform job tasks for extended periods including moving materials.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Material handling with Inventory Control and Material Review Board (ICMRB) experience is preferred.
  • Material handling equipment (MHE) trained or certified – Forklift preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Associates Degree in a related field is nice to have.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
