The impact you’ll make

In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to plan and execute manufacturing operations that directly contribute to achieving the business's strategic goals and key performance indicators (KPIs). You will be a central figure in driving cross-functional alignment across departments such as OFM, engineering, logistics, and quality assurance to ensure seamless execution and operational excellence

What you’ll do

  • Own PM launch readiness, ensuring material, documentation, and constraints are cleared ahead of launch
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams (MFG, PC, SCM, Engineering, OFM) to resolve shortages and blockers prior to launch
  • Decide and align on launch sequence and priorities based on readiness and business impact
  • Proactively identify material shortages and execution constraints impacting production
  • Partner with planning, supply chain, and engineering teams to drive timely resolution through alternative sourcing, expediting, or approved workarounds
  • Track and follow up on part shortages, borrowed materials, and special build dependencies to closure
  • Act as the single point of integration between manufacturing execution and planning functions during launch windows
  • Monitor production schedules, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to meet production targets.
  • Maintain visibility of WIP status, progression, and location across the manufacturing floor
  • Monitor and manage priority builds to ensure customer and delivery commitments are met.
  • Partner with manufacturing supervisors to sequence work and remove execution roadblocks
  • Collaborate with scheduling and planning teams to align production loading with factory capacity
  • Influence production sequencing decisions to optimize cycle time and operational efficiency
  • Coordinate and manage impacts from scheduled and unscheduled downtime events
  • Ensure clear ownership, alignment, and communication across stakeholders during execution

Who we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
  • Proven experience in manufacturing or production management
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications

  • Knowledge in SAP, Excel, Power Point and PowerBi
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders or customers in technical matters

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
