The impact you’ll make

As a Logistics Analyst at Lam, you'll orchestrate and streamline material flow, ensuring efficient supply chain operations and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Your role encompasses a broad set of responsibilities, including supply chain services, inventory control, and ensuring critical parts availability through enterprise warehouse and inventory systems. Your skilled analysis will support production planning and volume studies. Your expertise will be pivotal in optimizing Lam's logistics plans for seamless operations.

What you’ll do

  • Own daily/weekly lane performance tracking for assigned modes (FTL/LTL, line-haul, parcel/CEP, air & ocean) including MY–SG shuttle and key APAC export lanes.
  • Coordinate inbound to manufacturing flows, vendor pickups (VMI/consignment if applicable), and site-to-site transfers to meet build plans and OTIF targets.
  • Manage shipment prioritization and expedite governance (criteria, approvals, root cause tracking, cost recovery).
  • Drive dock-to-dock process efficiency (slotting, cut-off adherence, cycle time reduction).
  • Support peak management and risk mitigation (e.g., capacity constraints, port congestion, holidays, weather).
  • Partner with Trade Ops to ensure cross-border compliance (MY–SG customs, COO, HS code accuracy, valuation, permits, ATA carnets as needed).
  • Ensure dangerous goods, lithium battery, and controlled items transport compliance; maintain documentation accuracy (CI/PL, MAWB/HAWB, B/L, permits).
  • Drive claims management (loss/damage, service failures), root cause, and cost recovery.
  • Serve as power user for TMS/WMS/ERP integrations (tendering, tracking, freight audit & pay).
  • Improve track-and-trace and milestone visibility (ASN, pickup, gateway, line-haul, final delivery, POD).
  • Validate freight audit results and dispute exceptions; ensure GL coding accuracy and timely accruals.
  • Own carrier QBRs for assigned providers: performance scorecards (OTIF, tender accept, lead time adherence, exceptions, POD timeliness, claims ratio).
  • Implement corrective action plans and continuous improvement roadmaps; ensure SLA and MSA compliance.
  • Enforce tendering hierarchy and routing guide compliance; manage carrier allocations and lane transitions.

Who we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
