What you’ll do
This role reports into the Global Planning Systems Team focused to drive global standardization and automation for Planning Organization. They will help identify opportunities for standardization and efficiency, determine best practice, submit requirements, and manage projects through execution.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Lam Planning and Scheduling systems and be responsible for the maintenance of tools with regards to tables and settings.
- Support through engagement to identify potential area for improvement, problem solve and define requirements to drive improvement projects and engage with upstream/downstream stakeholders and Global Information Systems team to manage project through completion.
- Focus of projects should be standardization of practice across all factories in the global planning network where there is opportunity to develop a process that increases Planning and MRP signal speed and accuracy that support changes in customer demand or company direction.
- Support Cross Functional Teams as Global Planning tools and systems SME to drive business improvement and operational needs.
- Set project timelines, success criteria, and supporting KPIs.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Twelve (12) years of Master Scheduling or related experience in a high technology manufacturing company.
- Expert understanding of Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics processes.
- Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems.
- Demonstrated success working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.
- Demonstrate Creative Problem-Solving skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Experience working in MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word), Power BI and Teams.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
