We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Data Operations Specialist to join the Corporate Communications Communications Technology (CommsTech) team. 

The impact you’ll make

This role supports data-driven decision-making across Corporate Communications by managing data operations, improving analytics processes, and building scalable reporting solutions. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in coding and data analysis, experience working with modern analytics platforms such as Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, and an interest in applying AI-enabled capabilities to improve efficiency and insight generation. In addition to data operations, this role provides select website and digital operations support, working closely with Web Operations partners.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will: 

Data Operations & Process Improvements 

  • Support day-to-day data operations for Corporate Communications, including preparing, validating, and maintaining datasets used for analytics, reporting, and surveys. 
  • Design, establish, and continuously improve scalable data processes that support long-term operations. 
  • Identify manual steps, data risks, or inefficiencies and recommend improvements that increase accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency. 
  • Contribute to the development of workflows, standards, and playbooks that support operational excellence. 
  • Maintain clear documentation of data sources, business rules, assumptions, and dependencies. 

Coding (Data & Website Operations Support) 

  • Write and maintain code (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Python, or similar languages) 
  • Leverage Microsoft Fabric to support analytics solutions, including working with Fabric data experiences (such as Lakehouse or Warehouse) and pipelines that feed Power BI reporting. 
  • Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that support communications insights and operational decision-making. 
  • Provide select website operations support as needed (Adobe Experience Manager Experience preferred). 

AI & Emerging Technologies 

  • Apply AI-assisted tools and capabilities to enhance data analysis, automation, and reporting workflows. 
  • Explore practical AI use cases to improve data quality checks, pattern detection, summarization, and operational efficiency. 
  • Stay current on AI developments within the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot) and identify opportunities for responsible application within Corporate Communications. 

Who we’re looking for

  • 8 years of experience working with data operations, analytics, or reporting in an enterprise environment. 
  • Strong coding skills (e.g., SQL, Python, or similar) for data transformation and automation. 
  • Hands-on experience building or supporting Power BI reports and dashboards. 
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS for basic website or digital content support. 
  • Interest in AI and emerging technologies, with a willingness to explore practical applications in analytics and operations. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently and managing priorities with minimal supervision. 
  • Willing and able to occasionally work outside standard business hours to collaborate with global stakeholders and accommodate multiple time zones. 

Preferred qualifications

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and modern analytics architectures is strongly preferred.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
