The impact you’ll make
As a Technical Program Manager at Lam, you are not just overseeing projects - You'll own end‑to‑end delivery of complex, cross‑functional operational programs supporting Engineering Operations. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy, driving program strategy, execution rigor, stakeholder alignment, and operational outcomes across workforce planning, hiring programs, vendor management, finance/procurement interfaces, and engineering/lab operations.
What you’ll do
- Lead large, multi year or multi workstream operational programs with full ownership of scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
- Drive process standardization, automation, and scalability across operations
- Translate business and leadership priorities into scalable program plans, operating cadence, and measurable KPIs
- Proactively manage interdependencies, resolve complex blockers, and drive executive level decision making
- Own execution of NCG, Intern, RFT, and CW hiring programs in partnership with workforce planning
- Govern end to end execution including approvals, vendor/MSP coordination, interview operations, onboarding readiness, and reporting
- Ensure cost, capacity, headcount, and timeline commitments are met
- Serve as the single program owner interfacing with Engineering, HR, Finance, Procurement, EHS, and external partners
- Provide clear, data driven program health updates and recommendations to senior leadership
- Influence outcomes across organizations without direct authority
- Ensure compliance with finance, procurement, vendor, CW, and EHS/lab policies
- Maintain audit ready documentation and standard operating practices
- Lead retrospectives and embed continuous improvement culture
Who we’re looking for
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience; or MBA with 10+ years’ experience
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects/programs including ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated strong problem‑solving and data analysis skills, translating insights into executable plans while driving complex programs across geographically distributed teams
- Experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating leadership and influence skills to deliver results.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences at all levels in the Company.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in or knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication, Semiconductor Equipment Operations, or related industries is a plus.
- Knowledge of Program Management methods and experience in Product Development & Release (PDR) procedures.
- Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
- Expertise with project management software and tools including MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent.
- Experience in Change Management methodologies is a plus.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
