The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

The impact you’ll make

As a Technical Program Manager at Lam, you are not just overseeing projects – you’re orchestrating breakthroughs in support of [insert strategic initiative]. You’ll lead cross-functional teams through successful project execution blending your technical excellence with strategic planning to deliver new or upgraded products. Your role is vital, owning technical projects from initiation through delivery using your expertise in planning, directing, and monitoring schedules and budget.

What you’ll do

· Hands-on experience managing the Obsolescence lifecycle from risk identification through solution release.

· Drive resource planning, mitigation plan, implementation, and program execution.

· Lead LTB strategy, excess inventory management, and runout risk mitigation within tight demand and supply windows

· Strong analytical skills to build decision frameworks using demand, forecast, cost, and risk inputs

· Own program plans, milestones, schedules, risks, and performance metrics to ensure delivery on time and within business targets.

· Identify workflow gaps, reduce manual tracking burden, and help standardize execution across product groups.

· Partner with stakeholders to understand process and system requirements and drive scalable improvements in business process.

· Lead cross-functional programs with strong governance, escalation, and stakeholder management discipline

· Operate in a global, high-interaction environment with frequent reviews, milestone tracking, and executive escalations

· Solid understanding of Product Life Cycle (PLC) and its impact on obsolescence, supply continuity, and cost

· Ability to multi-task across multiple, competing priorities in a dynamic environment

Who we’re looking for

Minimum Qualifications:

  • · Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience. 3+ years of technical program management. 
  • 3+ years of continuous improvement or technical program management.
  • Experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating influence skills to deliver results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences at all levels in the Company.

Preferred qualifications

· Experience in Semiconductor, Electrical, or Electronic OEM industries, related industries is a plus.

· Proven ability to influence without authority, drive alignment, and deliver sustainable change

· Knowledge of Program Management methods and experience in Product Development &Release (PDR) procedures

· Familiarity with project management software and tools including MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent.

· Knowledge of Change Management methodologies is a plus.
