As a Technical Program Manager at Lam, you are not just overseeing projects – you’re orchestrating breakthroughs in support of [insert strategic initiative]. You’ll lead cross-functional teams through successful project execution blending your technical excellence with strategic planning to deliver new or upgraded products. Your role is vital, owning technical projects from initiation through delivery using your expertise in planning, directing, and monitoring schedules and budget.

What you’ll do

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Years of Experience: 3-5 years of experience in operations, inventory management, or supply chain coordination
  • Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field. Engineering background is a plus

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Cross functional team coordination between engineering, supply chain, and warehousing to manage reworking older part numbers into new part numbers, selling excess inventory to suppliers, and scrapping unusable parts
  • Data validation of inventory levels and demand profiles to support rework, sellback, and scrap activities; ensure sales are properly credited and ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner
  • Inventory management and coordination with Engineering R&D requirements of engineering materials to prevent aging excess
  • Analyze current inventory levels and open purchase orders to manage excess material purchases for last time buys and other supply chain inventory management processes
  • Oversee inventory transfers and virtual warehouse statuses; manage aging reservations and ensure smooth integration into operations

 

Demonstrated skills required for performing the job:

  • Ability to optimize resource allocation and prioritize across multiple responsibilities
  • Diligence to track inventory activities through multiple stages and effectively communicate with multiple organizations to efficiently manage excess inventory
  • Skill in decision making and problem solving in the absence of complete or accurate data, with a bias towards action
  • Stakeholder management, both within various global organizations of the company and customer facing sales team across multiple geographical locations
  • Proven experience managing large-scale budgets and conducting financial forecasting and variance analysis
  • Proficiency with SAP or other large ERP system, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI

 

Other Desirable Skills and eligible criteria:

  • Experience in semiconductor or other capital equipment industry
  • Experience working with dispersed teams, preferably across multiple geographies
  • Understanding of Lam products, POA (Product Option Architecture) and BOM (Bill of Material) is preferred
  • Experience with program and project management, structured problem-solving methodologies and efficient execution
