The group you’ll be a part of

The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

The impact you’ll make

As a software developer you will contribute to the design and development of scalable architectures for robotic control interfaces. Your work will support the performance and reliability of our robotic systems, enabling seamless integration between hardware and software.

What you’ll do

  • Assist in full-stack development activities, following best practices in coding, architecture, and deployment.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable and high-performance systems to handle real-time sensor and robot data.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints for real-time data streaming, authentication, and system configuration.
  • Develop intuitive dashboards for monitoring robot application status, diagnostics, logs, and teleoperation.
  • Collaborate with the robotics software team to integrate web technologies with robotics hardware.
  • Support database management for storing logs, mission data, and user/robot configurations.
  • Help optimize low-latency systems for real-time robotic monitoring.

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of experience; or an advanced degree without previous professional experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Profeciency in MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js)
  • Proficiency in python
  • Experience with websockets or similar technologies
  • Experience with version control and docker
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with at least one of the following is a plus
    • Robotics knowledge, specifically in ROS1 or ROS2
    • UI/UX and a good eye for design and design tools (like Figma)
    • Experience with docker for deploying web applications
    • Experience with 3D web visualization libraries for render robot model
    • Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration tools
    • Familiarity with testing frameworks for full-stack applications
