About LIDAS: Automation Engineer (Individual Contributor Role) LIDAS (Lam India Data Analytics and Sciences) team is responsible to provide best-in-class analytics solutions that help improve business decisions in Global Operations and other business sub-functions across Lam. This Organization, a “Center of Excellence” (CoE), consists of a high-performing team of experts who collaborate cross-functionally and provide analytics solutions to various business functions to suit their business needs. This team strives to improve the productivity & efficiency of business processes through business analytics, data science & automation projects. The resulting projects help accelerate businesses/stakeholders in decision-making by providing data insights. The team continuously develops the required technical skills and business acumen to help solve complex business problems & Use Cases in the semiconductor, manufacturing, and supply chain domains for the company. This role will be in Automation group to support Global Operations Process Automation & deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of LAM's business

Eligibility Criteria:
- Years of Experience: Minimum 8 to 12 years
- Job Experience: Experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using Power Automate,
- Educational: BE/BTech or MTech: Computer Science Engineering or Engineering in similar stream from leading institutes.
Primary Responsibilities
• Design efficient & scalable End to End Process Automation to solve complex business problems
• Develop solutions using RPA Tools: Power Automate Cloud, Power Automate Desktop flows
• Deliver quick POCs to perform feasibility study in providing solutions to complex problems.
• Understand the Requirement & communicate effectively the specifications, architecture/Design details, and flowcharts to have end-user alignment to deliver quality solution, handle stake holder meetings
• Responsible for Automation Code development, Testing & support Hypercare post deployment, coordinating UAT, and proper technical sign-off for production go-live.
• Research and recommend new technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of automated processes and workflows
• Upgrade / Migrate Lower version automation to higher version of Automation Power Automate & Automation Anywhere
• Source control (via Azure DevOps or GitHub), and environment promotion strategies
• Mentor junior developers, contribute to reusable components, and support governance, security, and CoE (Center of Excellence) practices across the Power Platform ecosystem
• Work independently to deliver Solutions with Automation standards in code development, deployment, maintaining folder structure, Logs, Error Handling
• Collaborate and adopt the latest technology stack in alignment with the Enterprise IT roadmap.
• Support Automations in Production, monitor Bot Run
Mandatory Skills :
- 5+ yrs of hands-on experience in developing automation solutions with Power Automate Cloud & Desktop
- Certification: PL500, PL400 / PL900 • Experience in building Automation using Azure platforms, integration with AI/ML Models integrating with SharePoint, OneDrive, Network folders for file movements, Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure services, third-party APIs, and on-premises systems using connectors, custom APIs, and data gateways
- Hands on experience in developing automation with capabilities of OCR, Email, Excel Advanced, API’s, SAP GUI, BAPI, Database, Web UI and Windows applications
- Hands-On working experience in Power Automate & its AI Builder, Copilot / Automation Anywhere (AA) & its IQ BOT
- Proficient in VB Macro, Excel formulas, Python programming, Json & xml
- Well versed with agile methodologies for delivery and used tools like Jira, Azure devops/git etc.
- Good skills in managing Stakeholders’ (internal and external) Expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, able to communicate with cross-function global teams.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
