The impact you’ll make

As a Program or Project Manager at Lam, you will play a pivotal role in driving projects/programs for Supplier risk team. You’ll be at the forefront of project initiation through delivery, using your expertise to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure project are completed on time and within budget.

What you’ll do

  • Manage key areas within the global supply chain operations that focus on problem solving and operational excellence
  • Manage supplier risk & resilience programs to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain disruptions.
  • Drive cross-functional execution with SCM, SET, Supplier Development, and Business teams to ensure timely closure of risk mitigation plans and program milestones.
  •  Develop and operationalize risk frameworks, dashboards, and tools to provide real-time visibility into supplier risk exposure, performance, and continuity readiness.
  • Own risk analytics and insights, translating data into actionable strategies that improve supplier reliability, onboarding decisions, and ramp readiness.
  • Influence stakeholders without direct authority to align priorities, drive accountability, and ensure consistent adoption of supplier risk governance processes.
  • Drive organizational goals through improvement initiatives across functions by leveraging program management principles and desired strategy
  • Develop project plans and lead project activities from planning to implementation. Track project schedule and maintain matrix for process improvements.
  • Solve complex business problems and build solutions that will improve operations and support critical business strategies.
  • Be part of a high-performing team, collaborate to drive execution, mitigate risks, ensure compliance with program or project timelines, and deliver results aligned with business objectives
  • Collaborate with business groups by providing strategic inputs to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application. Ensure approach, policies and procedures align with organizational vision. 

Who we’re looking for

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, engineering, or a related field with over 6 years of experience, or a master’s degree with more than 6 years of experience, or equivalent professional expertise
  • More than 4 years of extensive experience in project and program management, navigating matrix organizations, and effectively influencing stakeholders.
  • Strong business analytical skills with background in Power BI, MS Suite, & SAP.
  • Clear concise communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a dynamic cross functional environment.

Preferred qualifications

  • Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
