The Corporate Communications Group delivers world-class communications to inform and engage key stakeholders and bring Lam's brand to life on a global scale. They lead our internal and executive communications, executive thought leadership, social presence, and philanthropic efforts through volunteering and the Lam Foundation.

 

The impact you’ll make

As Manager, Corporate Communications – India, you will lead the development and execution of strategic communications programs that strengthen Lam’s brand, reputation, and visibility across India and the broader region.

This role places a strong emphasis on public relations and media engagement, alongside integrated communications, to position Lam as a trusted voice in the semiconductor ecosystem.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications for India, you will play a critical role in shaping perception, elevating executive presence, and advancing Lam’s strategic priorities externally and internally.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute a proactive PR strategy to enhance Lam’s visibility across tier-1 business, technology, and policy media
  • Shape and localize Lam’s narrative for India, aligned with global priorities and regional context
  • Build and manage strong relationships with key journalists, editors, and influencers across India
  • Identify and secure high-impact media opportunities and manage media briefings/press interactions ensuring message discipline and alignment
  • Develop and oversee press materials (releases, fact sheets, briefing notes, Q&As)
  • Anticipate and manage reputational risks, including handling sensitive or complex media situations
  • Develop and execute integrated campaigns spanning PR, social media, executive communications, and internal storytelling
  • Partner with global and regional teams to adapt and amplify global campaigns for India
  • Lead storytelling across innovation, talent, CSR/social impact, and industry partnerships
  • Develop high-quality content including speeches, bylines, presentations, and digital content

 

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communications with strong PR/media experience, ideally in a multinational environment
  • Proven track record of building media relationships and driving high-quality coverage

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to translate complex business and technology topics into clear, compelling narratives
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to operate with speed, judgment, and discretion in dynamic environments
  • Data-driven mindset with focus on measurable impact
  • Experience in the semiconductor, technology, or advanced manufacturing sectors or PR agencies
  • Established relationships within India’s business, technology, and policy media ecosystem
  • Experience in Stakeholder & Agency Management

  •  

    Collaborate across functions (business, HR, legal, government affairs, CSR) to drive aligned communications
  • Manage and guide PR agencies and external partners to deliver measurable outcomes
  • Build strong partnerships with global communications teams

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
