The group you’ll be a part of
This position is based out of Bangalore, focusing on Virtual Manufacturing Engineering, and closely working with Pilot Manufacturing Engineers and product design engineers across various regions of Lam. This individual would be responsible for performing virtual build, report out potential issues before the physical build, create abd publish SOE/OMS
Job Responsibilities
- Perform Virtual Build in Delmia tool for a Process Module, power box, gas delivery system and accommodate configuration options accordingly
- Create a M-BOM from the E-BOM assigned
- Conduct Virtual Build including BOM comparison, create process plan/define the sequence of events, DFMA analysis and report out issues
- Collaborate with Global Pilot Manufacturing Engineer and Virtual build leads to do work sharing on Virtual Build and to identify and report issues before the physical build
- Generate SoE Documentation/work instructions meeting Lam standards and handover to Pilot manufacturing team to support physical build
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Production / Industrial Engineering with 2-5 years of relevant experience for Bachelor's degree
Mandatory Skills
- Proficiency working in Delmia (3DExperience preferred) or any other virtual/digital manufacturing software
- Experience in defining assembly sequence, M-BOM, ergonomic simulation, and hand tool reachability/accessibility studies for assembly process
- Experience in creating Operation Method Sheets (OMS)/Sequence of Events (SoE) or Work instructions for large assemblies
- Exposure to design reviews with cross functional teams like engineering and manufacturing to identify/resolve potential build issues
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in assembling product in a manufacturing set-up
- Knowledge on Semiconductor equipment and its assembly process
- Exposure of 3D work instructions
- Exposure to problem solving methodologies
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) & presentation skills
- DFMA assessment
