The Impact You’ll Make

As a Logistics Analyst at Lam, you'll orchestrate and streamline material flow, ensuring efficient supply chain operations and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Your role encompasses a broad set of responsibilities, including supply chain services, inventory control, and ensuring critical parts availability through enterprise warehouse and inventory systems. Your skilled analysis will support production planning and volume studies. Your expertise will be pivotal in optimizing Lam's logistics plans for seamless operations.

Job Responsibilities

You will be performing 

  1. Operations Support
    1. Routing guide management
    2. Ensure booking of shipments for respective Logistics Service Providers (LSP)
    3. Track & tracing and exception handling: BN4L exception management
      1. Ability to quickly react to unforeseen events and communicate with stakeholders as needed
    4. Freight Rate tender & Freight audit
    5. BN4L exception management
    6. Follow SOPs (Standard Operations Procedures) with great attention to detail

Other Job Responsibilities

  1. SAP TMS Administration & Troubleshooting
    1. User management (user set up, onboarding and ongoing support)
    2. Work with core technical team and Training internal teams on new SAP TMS tools
    3. Master data maintenance as needed
    4. TMS troubleshooting and communication between the user base and TMS vendor regarding system performance and outages
    5. Support standardization and documentation of processes (SOP creation) as needed
  2. Analytics
    1. Report generation and analysis turning data into actionable insights (improving transportation provider selection, route optimization, identifying cost reduction opportunities, etc.)
    2. Continuous improvement based on lesson learned
    3. Gain insight over carrier performance to evaluate trends and pursue advantageous alternatives

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operational research, supply chain, or related field with minimum 8-12 years working experience in any of the following areas: Global Logistics Project/Program mgt, Global Transportation & Trade operations in global environment. PMP certification will be added advantage (MBA or master’s preferred but not required).
  • Experience in managing international logistics in all modes of transportation (especially AIR Freight)
  • Experience in working with SAP & TMS tools (Transportation Management System)
  • Freight audit and pay tools
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) & global exposure.
  • Note:
    • Shift timings IST: S1 shift- 6am to 3pm / S2 shift:3pm to 12 pm
    • Candidates should be comfortable working in shift based on business needs.
