Embedded Business Analyst, Lead

The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.

The impact you’ll make

Join Lam as an Operations Business Analyst, where you'll spearhead process improvement initiatives. With your data expertise, you collect and analyze data through a range of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and apps, develop metrics, and identify root causes with data-driven indicators for future improvements. Organizing cross-functional project teams, you communicate team progress and survey best practices, showcasing your commitment to operational excellence at Lam.

What you’ll do

Performs detailed business analysis, develops insights and solutions for the business function with the support BA(s) in LIDAS
Performs Ad-hoc Analysis for functional stakeholders
Develops Functional Analytics Roadmaps that supports the strategic objectives of business function
Develops resource plan for the function(s) based on the roadmap
Acts as a functional single point of contact (SPOC) to deliver roadmap/business needs by:
Lead solutioning meetings with functional stakeholders
Define business requirements and prioritizing them based on EVA with the functional stakeholders and management
Translate business needs into written requirements for BA(s) to execute
Manage functional user testing of applications/dashboards/reporting and data quality assurance
Support or own user acceptance testing
Provide postproduction user support
Document findings and lessons learned from proof of concepts and discovery projects
Participates in the governance and prioritization of projects across the business function 

Who we’re looking for

Data Analysis skills, experience in extracting information from databases, Office 365 
Experience in Agile/SCRUM process and development using any tools.   
Experience in Exploratory data Analysis using SQL/Python 
Knowledge of SAP systems (SAP ECC T-Codes & Navigation)  
Knowledge of 8D Methodology & its Success Criteria 
Handson with CSBG Spares/Upgrades/Reliant/Legesy tool and process
Expertise in Material Master and attributes
Experience in project requirements gathering and converting business requirements into analytical & technical specs.  
Good understanding of business processes and experience in Engineering Services 
Knowledge in performing Root cause analysis and Corrective actions.  
Excellent verbal and written communication & presentation skills, able to communicate cross-functionally.

Preferred qualifications

Years of Experience:Minimum 5-8 years
Job Experience:         
Experience with Data Analysis/Data Profiling, Visualization tools (Power BI)  
Expert in Database and Data warehouse tech (Azure Synapse/SQL Server/SAP HANA/IPLM)  
Experience in Stakeholder management/requirement gathering/delivery cycle. 
Educational:               
Bachelor’s Degree: Math/Statistics/Operations Research/Computer Science  
Master’s Degree: Business Analytics (with a background in Computer Science) 

Our commitment
