What you’ll do

• Create and maintain Order BOMs based on Configuration changes, NSRs (Non Standard Requests) and Change Orders (CO).
• Manage customer specific capital equipment systems based on requirements defined by Sales and Engineering teams to meet the customer's requirements by converting materials defined in Quote into Sale Order BOM.
• Verify and implement NSRs that are feasible, accurate, and manufacturable
• OBC(Order Bom Change) Activity : Configuration Engineer submits an OBC request for SPM(System Project manager) & Management Review when material must be added to the OBOM within 8 weeks of Launch of the affected module.
• Protect configuration quality and prevent escapes through strong product knowledge and processes.
• Participate in cross functional teams to resolve issues on the production floor
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain aligned communication and speed to execution
• Implement and manage configuration changes with proper documentation and traceability.

Who we’re looking for

• Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or Master’s without Experience
• Job Experience: Experience in any of the following areas: Multinational high technology corporation, in operations (preferred), BOM Management
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or MBA (Supply Chain/Operations)

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Production Engineering
• Ability to successfully interact with and coordinate across diverse parts of the organization, technical and non-technical
• Experience with Hardware Configuration/Product Management
• Computer literate including MS Office suite, email, Windows, Explorer
• Knowledge of BOM structures and Engineering Change process in SAP ECC
• Excellent communication skills

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
